While considering the various possibilities available, don't forget you are in one of the most interesting wine areas in Italy. The mild weather of these hills which have been originated by the melting of the ancient glacier that created the lake, makes this area excellent for vine growing. Garda Lake has the lucky to have its own indigenous grapes like Turbiana, Groppello and Marzemino and has a very long history in growing some other italian grapes such as Sangiovese, Barbera and Tocai. Our wine production is dedicated exclusively to these grapes; we grow no international varietals like Chardonnay, Cabernet and Merlot.
